Coming Soon: HUF Mateo
After a few delays (and the written review file accidentally deleted) the HUF Mateo review will be released this Wednesday. I appreciate everyones patience for this review. If you absolutely can't wait for the review to buy the Mateos you should know that the fit is perfect, and it is directed toward the low impact skater.

Mid Test Report: Vans Lindero
Mid Test Report: Vans Lindero
In the beginning of January I hooked my good homie Bryce Church up with some Vans Linderos to test out. We both decided that a video review was the best way to do the review. So here is a little teaser
If you want to view it on Youtube Click Here: Vans Lindero Review Teaser
We don't want to disclose a lot of information but here is what we can give you for the time being
What To Expect:
Look out for this review after the HUF Mateo which I have been trying to chip away at for the past few weeks. Expect more contributions to the blog from others soon. If you have any shoes you want reviewed let us know and we will look into it.

We don't want to disclose a lot of information but here is what we can give you for the time being
What To Expect:
- Great flick due to one piece toecap and pointy shape
- Padding is right where you need it
- The sole is not too thick, or too thin. Boardfeel is achieved without sacrificing padding
- Solid Ankle Support

Video Part Of The Day: Andrew Allen in 522 on 411
If you are a skate purist you will find this video great. It is a refreshing change from every skate video filmed with HD cameras. Andrew Allen kills it and is super underrated compared to a lot of skateboarders out there. "Raw" is the only way to describe this full part

HUF Joey Pepper Pro
HUF PEPPER PRO
With many shoe companies releasing new styles for spring 2013, and our HUF Mateo Review being finalized I think its proper to show you one of the better upcoming designs from HUF.
Joey Pepper has been on HUF for a year and a half now, and if you have seen any footage from him you know that his shoe is more than earned. I had originally seen this shoe in mid-late 2012 and was instantly stoked on the new stuff this shoe is gonna bring to the table.
The look of the shoe is very practical in its design. It doesn't look bulky, but not too thin. The one piece to cap always looks great, but the aesthetic stitching and breathable perforations running around it sets it apart from other shoes, while not sacrificing durability, or breathability for looks. I am really into plain color ways of shoes, the side stripes give the shoe some color without being too overwhelming. The sole is the traditional HUF tread pattern with a pinstripe, and HUF tab that is coordinated with the side stripes, and overall color way very nicely, along with a gold eyelet, and heel branding. Overall the design is really a refreshing change from every "one piece upper" shoe out there.

HUF has not really been known for technology during their time in the skate industry, but this Pepper pro puts some new ideas out there. They have included interior mesh for breathability and comfort, which is almost always a big advantage, along with perforations and canvas side paneling. Reinforced ollie panels should boost breathability while the new "extra toe wrap." This is just an extra layer of rubber on the toe to give the toe a little more life, and better flick.

Overall the new HUF Pepper Pro is a great looking design to kick off 2013 with. There are four color ways in total coming this spring. A navy, and black for the first drop, as well as a greenish grey and red color way for the second drop. Pricing around 75$ this may seem a little expensive for some, but will probably be more durable than most shoes similar to this. Plus HUF is a great brand to support. Big congratulations to Keith, Joey, and everyone at HUF on this great design!
Look out for the Mateo review soon.

Video Part Of The Day: Jake's VX Mix
Being from Upstate NY I'm always hyped to see footage from rippers around the area. Jake Donnelly from Buffalo, NY released a video part on Thrasher called "Jake's VX Mix." He basically filmed it when he went home for a few weeks. Its incredible how much footage he got in a short amount of time. Plus, the ender is nuts. Check it out
Update.
Not much has been happening on the blog lately. I have been very busy lately and I am currently looking to put more reviews/posts up in the next week or two. I have just been working on reviews, and taking photos for the reviews lately. Also I am currently getting together a few more reviews that are going to be coming in the next few months.
A review on the HUF Mateo will finally be posted on Friday after a few delays. The FP insoles review is currently being worked on and a video review of the Vans Lindero will be released in mid-late February.
Look out for the coming reviews. If you wanna stay posted on any info make sure to follow us on Instagram at @allthingsskateboarding
